Remove Metadata from Image removemetadatafromimage.com

Privacy policy

Last updated: 15 September 2026. This policy explains how removemetadatafromimage.com handles information. The cleaner is built so your photos do not need to be sent to us.

The short version

When you drop an image on the homepage, it is read in your browser tab, inspected, redrawn, and offered as a download. We do not receive that file. We do not store a copy. We cannot see your prompts, GPS, or pixels.

What this website is

The domain is hosted so anyone can open the page. Hosting publishes HTML, CSS and JavaScript — the public website. That is different from uploading a photo to a server-side editor. JavaScript on this site uses the File API and canvas on the device that opened the tab.

Information we do not collect from the cleaner

Information the host may log

Like most websites, the hosting company (Hostinger) and any CDN in front of the site may log technical requests: IP address, browser type, pages viewed (for example /how-it-works.html), date and time. That is ordinary web-server logging for security and uptime. It is not a copy of the photo you cleaned. We do not use those logs to rebuild your images.

Cookies and analytics

The cleaner itself does not set an advertising cookie and does not require a login cookie. Your browser may still store files you downloaded, as every download does. If Hostinger, a CDN, or a future analytics script sets a cookie, it is for the webpage — not for reading your photos.

Third parties

We do not sell image data. We do not send dropped files to OpenAI, Google, Meta, or other APIs. Social networks you post to later have their own policies; clean the file here first, then upload there.

Children

This is a general-purpose utility. Do not submit photos of children if you are not allowed to process those files. We do not knowingly collect children’s image data because we do not collect image data.

Your rights

Because we do not store your photos, there is no image file for us to export or delete. For questions about hosting logs or this policy, use the contact page. You can also stop using the site at any time; nothing remains in an account.

Changes

If how the tool works changes (for example a future optional cloud feature), we will update this page. The current design is local-only cleaning.
