Is this free to use?
Yes. The cleaner runs in your browser with no account and no upload fees.
Is my image data safe?
Yes. Images are read in this tab only. Hosting the website does not mean photos are sent to Hostinger or to us.
What types of images are supported?
PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, BMP and SVG. If a file will not decode, convert it to PNG or JPEG first.
Will removing metadata change image quality?
Deep clean always redraws pixels so hidden tags cannot survive. JPEG is re-encoded at high quality. The picture looks the same to the eye.
Why would I want to remove AI metadata?
Some generators and editors embed C2PA Content Credentials. Instagram and other apps can then show a Made with AI label. Cleaning first gives you a normal photo file.
If it says no AI metadata found, is the image still cleaned?
Yes. Every file is still pixel-redrawn. “No AI metadata found” means no generator tags or C2PA boxes were readable in the file.
Can this add fake “human-made” credentials?
No. We only strip tags. We do not forge C2PA claims.
Is using this legal?
You may clean files you have the right to edit. Do not use it to misrepresent work where a platform or contract requires disclosure.
